Study Desk: Turn Any Chapter PDF into Notes, Flashcards and a Quiz
Study Desk in SmartPrep CBSE turns a student’s own PDFs, like an NCERT chapter, class notes or a worksheet, into study material: a short summary, point-wise notes by section, flashcards, an eight-question quiz, and a chat that answers only from the pages uploaded.
How it works
- 1
Upload a PDF
One chapter at a time works best. Scanned PDFs work too; a long scan takes a minute or two.
- 2
Get your study set
Summary, notes, flashcards and a quiz are ready for every chapter.
- 3
Ask your pages
Ask questions and get answers taken from your own document, not the whole internet.
What you get
Summary
The chapter in a few paragraphs, for a quick revision before class.
Notes
One line per point, organised by section.
Flashcards
Question on the front, answer on the back.
Quiz
Eight questions, answered the way you practise elsewhere in SmartPrep.
Grounded chat
Answers come from your uploaded pages, so they stay on your syllabus.
Who it is for
- CBSE students revising chapters or their own class notes
Good to know
- PDF files only for now, with a size limit per upload.
- Included in the school plan that has the full self-study platform.
